Metro Exodus is a type game survivol horror in which, the player will embody a young recruit who will try to save your own within a post-apocalyptic universe. For avoid the effects of radiation, the player will play in the subway corridors and will have to face a multitude of monsters.

On Exodus Metro, theuniverse takes place as much in dark hallways thatoutdoors. The title wants to be brighter and narrower passages than the previous opus (like Last Light). After a few moments of wandering in this universe, the player will arrive and take control of a train in working order, the Aurora. From here, your ticket to hell will take shape …

 Graphically, a real visual slap?

Metro Exodus transports us to its unique universe, composed of mutants, ofspiders and of monsters. It’s by far with Red Dead Redemption 2, theone of the most beautiful games that we saw at level graphics.

The game takes us into universes with a thousand decorations, following the stops marked by the train:

  • Of arid deserts,

  • Of swamps made up of monsters, each more viscous than the other,

  • Of dense forests and deep.

The player will quickly realize that the worlds are varied. Throughout the adventure, we notice that the monsters have been carefully modeled, the backgrounds also, for a made more realistic.

A gameplay which is worth the detour?

Concerning gameplay, few developments are to be noted. The player will evolve slowly and must be on guard to:

For'orientation, a map will indicate the points to follow using a compass. The character has a bracelet which allows know your goals and for sorient at best. Its precision is not optimal but the plots being rather linear, it does not pose any problems, except for the some exploration phases.

At weapon level, Metro Exodus is doing brilliantly. The weapons are customizable at will ((military trellis, deer antler cross… Etc.), but above all they are adaptable. They allow strengthen its arsenal, with for example, increase the size of the magazine, add a telescope to improve your night vision. The game allows you to transport up to 3 weapons simultaneously. However, the player can only transform the most basic ammunition.

In terms of fights, thereenemy artificial intelligence is the point to improve of the game. They notice your presence at the last minute with strange reactions. As much as it can be hard to beat its mutants, however, do not seem to have a really defined approach. They You jump on it at the slightest opportunity, quite frontal, ready to devour you if you’re not always on guard.

However, we regret that the character be molted and do not interact with Ana, the main sidekick.

About the environments, they each have a story to tell. Even more surprising, scenes of dialogue with enemies are not uncommon.

Metro Exodus transports the player in a apocalyptic world, composed of mutants and of various monsters. All in one musical ambiance and visual to the best. The soundtrack and the dialogues with our protagonists are appreciable and create a real atmosphere.

However, the enemy behavior who stupidly jump on us at the slightest opportunity is to be reviewed. We would also have appreciated a lifetime of play longer. Overall the title remains significant because 4A Games knew how to impose your rhythm, your atmosphere and its decorations sufficiently rich and varied to make the adventure intense.
