Tim Cook: Apple Watch doesn't come before April

So far, it has only been said that Apple's smartwatch with the simple name "Watch" will be launched in early 2015. Now Tim Cook revealed that extradition can be expected in April.

In a conference call With analysts on the just released quarterly figures, Tim Cook indicated that the Apple Watch will not be released before April. However, it could well be later, because according to him, one is currently only “expecting” delivery this month. According to Cook, the planned launch in April is not postponed, one is "exactly on schedule".

Unfortunately, the head of the company revealed nothing at the time of the Apple Watch – without which Tim Cook says that he can no longer live and uses it every day. This would have been all the more interesting, especially given the recently published information about the gadget's rather poor stamina. The corresponding article comes from 9to5mac and speaks of only 2.5 hours of runtime when using resource-hungry apps, 3.5 hours for "normal use" and 19 hours if the owner only uses the gadget occasionally throughout the day.

In terms of endurance, Apple's smartwatch would not be any better than the competition in the form of Samsung with Gear 2, Gear S and Co. and Google with its Android Wear Watches from LG, Motorola and Asus. At prices of $ 349 and up, this would be anything but a minor criticism. Not that it will inevitably scare off Apple fans.
