We were lucky to be able to Review the Ticat’s keychain 2 from Ticatag, a keychain that allows you to more easily find your keys but also your phone in case it is the latter that you have lost.

Ti’Be 2 keyring

Design and Ergonomics

No need to leave Saint-Cyr to Review the application, everything is explained step by step. Things get complicated afterwards, or rather are so simple that it becomes complicated.

The settings are minimal, there are very few functions, alert when smart health connected, logout with the key ring, choose the action button ringtone and ti’Be’s actions. Again, we hope better, are only proposed what to do ring the phone or Facebook check-in, camera the choice is limited.

Mobile app

She is simplistic and not aesthetic but suddenly, difficult not to understand it correctly. Besides the unattractive gray color and the absolute lack of attractive gadgets, it does what it is asked, namely:

-> she locates the keychain on a card if it is declared lost. The ti’Be community is not limited to the keychain, but to a much more community vast users who have other objects with similar geolocation. It is therefore much larger than we might originally think.

-> it gives alerts every time you go too far or reconnect with your keychain

-> it allows you to manage several ti’Be on the same application

-> it locates in mode you heat / you cool, the key ring, according to the principle of blue you are far, green you approach, red you burn.

-> she does ring the keychain with a ringtone whose volume is perfectly acceptable, which allows it to be located correctly.

However, the range is limited, as soon as there are walls that hinder its passage, the key ring is no longer detected beyond 10 meters, in big houses, it’s a bit boring. Outdoors, however, it can go as far as 40 meters.

Our feeling

What I liked : The possibility of finding the ti’Be 2 without ringing it, ideal at night. The function to ring the lost smartphone.

What I did not like : The design of the app is not at all attractive.

For 34.90 euros, this keychain is easy to use and effective, too bad the application is not more worked in terms of design.
