this Samsung-supported sensor measures the health of your lungs

Developed by three former Samsung engineers, Bulo is the first breathing sensor to give an accurate estimate of the state of lung health.
The inventors had the idea for this device in 2017 during the Samsung Hackathon, an event where the company invites its employees to think about a project. Since then, they have resigned and started their own startup, called Breathings. A bet that could pay off in light of the success of their first product on Kickstarter. In less than a week on the crowdfunding platform, Internet users have already contributed 400% of the needs of the project. In other words, a more than successful start. Hopefully it will be the same on arrival.

Bulo: finally an affordable breathing sensor
The little device looks like some asthma inhalers and measures the state of the respiratory system. So better than a smart health connected stethoscope to stay ahead of your doctor. In fact, this kind of device already exists in medical establishments, especially hospitals.
However, this new product will be offered at a more affordable price. So, he allow someone to do preliminary testing at health home before embarking on expensive diagnostics with a professional.
To meet public expectations, Bulo is therefore an extremely easy to use. The user only has to inhale and then exhale directly into the device. Then, the latter will analyze the recorded measurements before displaying them in the linked iOS and Android mobile application.

What the device promises from a medical point of view
The data processed relate to three main points: the age, capacity and strength of the lungs. Note that several factors can influence these indicators, in particular smoking or even an illness (dyspnea, asthma, etc.).
In any case, the three engineers hope that the device will give its users a better idea of their health. Then they can for example adapt their physical exercises the state of their lungs. So, whether you're an asthmatic or a professional athlete, you can use the Bulo breathing sensor to speed up recovery after an effort.
In any case, Breathings offers his invention from $ 84 (around € 77.5) currently on Kickstarter for a start of deliveries in August.
