the bracelet with Amazon Alexa will be unveiled on June 11, here is the first info
Xiaomi has just unveiled its first advertising poster for its Xiaomi Mi Band 5, the brand's next smart health connected bracelet. The general design remains close to its Xiaomi Mi Band 4, but the manufacturer confirms the arrival of a larger screen. The brand confirms in passing several features such as NFC, fitness tracking or health.

Xiaomi increases pressure on Chinese social networks around its Mi Band 5 smart health connected bracelet which works in particular with Amazon Alexa. The next iteration is to be revealed on June 11, 2020. A first promotional poster has just been posted on Xiaomi's official Weibo page. We discover the object in the colors yellow, red, green and black – a little more tart than those offered until then with the Mi Band 4 (black, blue, brown and orange).
The design is practically identical to the previous generation, still with this very elongated screen with rounded edges. The screen does look bigger, which seems to confirm the rumor that the Mi Band 5 would have a 1.2 ″ panel (the Band 4 had a screen of barely 0.9 ″). Xiaomi accompanies the image with some info. We learn in particular that the bracelet will have NFC, a feature that allows, among other things, contactless payment directly on the bracelet.
It’s by the way one of the most anticipated features of the Mi Band 5. Especially if the next version remains sold around 30 euros. One of the pictograms in the visual on the right seems to show a gold-colored payment card. The other pictograms give some information on the functionality of the interface. One of the pictograms suggests monitoring the menstrual cycle for women, but also various types of fitness tracking (rower, yoga, jump rope, etc.).

We will not know if the bracelet will support the Amazon Alexa voice assistant or not at the moment.
