Unpacking the Yuzz It is quite misleading. It’s easy to believe that the box opens like a book from the front. However, you will not have access to the case which is protected behind a plastic membrane. In reality, you have to open the box on top of it via cardboard tips in order to remove the plastic support placed above it.

Once the top of the box is removed, you need to pull the plastic support on which the product rests. The Yuzz It praises simplicity and minimalism in its box. Indeed, the product is found alone in its box, without instructions or spare battery. For explanations you have to look all over the box. However, to remove the product from its plastic case an additional step is necessary. You must therefore remove the plastic support that protects it.

Design and Ergonomics of Yuzz It

Once the device is removed from its case, it is easy to see its appearance. The Yuzz It looks like a keychain, but does not stand out with remarkable style. This one is entirely black and oval. The material in which the product is made seems relatively fragile and easily breakable. The Yuzz It comes in a round and banal form, which is indistinguishable for an innovative object.

You will understand that the observation of the product is done fairly quickly. Regarding its practical part, the Yuzz It is also very succinct. The object firstly has a tip allowing it to be hung on a ribbon as a key ring. The other remarkable element happens to be the Yuzz It button. This will be your ally when using the device. As soon as the latter is activated, a red light is activated just above it.

Application of Yuzz It

For its proper functioning, the product has a dedicated application. This will ask you to activate Bluetooth and your location. In order to complete the synchronization of the product you will need to press the activation button of Yuzz It. Once this step has been completed, you will be able to use the application with complete peace of mind.

This first allows you to name your device as you see fit. So when you activate the memo, the device transcribes what you wrote down, but also the time and location. From this same application, you can find your key ring by ringing it. In addition, the device has a Shazam function since it can recognize the music playing when it is activated

Getting started with Yuzz It

To operate your Yuzz-It, the process is very simple. Once the app is activated and ready to use, you need to press the button on the device. A red indicator light activates at the same time as an audible signal, indicating that the object is ready for use. You can then dictate out loud what you want to remember and voila. Wait a few moments for the application to synchronize and analyze what you have said.

After synchronization, what you said appears on the application interface. It is therefore possible to see the date and time of the note, as well as your location at the time of the note. In addition, thanks to a button it is also possible to share your notes on social networks. Finally, all of your notes and memos are kept to be organized in the form of a map listing the places where you saved them.

Another possible use of Yuzz It is to recognize radio stations. To do this, you need to activate the device alongside a switched on radio so that it recognizes which station you are listening to. Regarding its autonomy, the device has a battery supposed to last 12 months, with the possibility of replacing it. However, it is not explained how the battery change takes place.

The Yuzz It against the competition

In terms of smart health connected sticky notes, few products exist. In the galaxy of smart health connected objects, the Yuzz It is undoubtedly the only product of its kind to be available in France. On the other hand, the keychain aspect is a little more appreciated by the creators. This is for example the case of the TI’BE 2 keychain from Ticatag. The latter is the object that we chose to make the comparison against Yuzz It.

The device is therefore a smart health connected keychain, compatible with iOS and Android services. Its function is very simple. You can find the Ti’Be using the dedicated application so that it locates your keychain. Like the Yuzz It, the Ti’Be also has a button to activate the product. Thanks to this, you can use the camera function so you can do it remotely.

Except for these functions, the use of the Ti’Be suffers from competition from Yuzz It since the product is very limited in its use. Despite a one-year autonomy, like its French competitor, the Ticatag product does not offer sufficient innovation to be a serious competitor. Its price currently available for 32 €, will be the only real asset of the product. However, the Yuzz It offers many more possibilities for use and really advanced technology. It is therefore natural that the French product wins the comparison.

Conclusion on the Yuzz It

Despite its gimmicky side, the Yuzz It keychain is a real life facilitator. Firstly thanks to its pocket design and its featherweight of 18 grams. The keychain is easy to install and use. To do this, you need to download the application with the same name as its product. Once you've paired the device and app, you can use Yuzz It. For the head of the air, the use of the object will be very easy. For 49 €, Yuzz It will greatly simplify your life.
