It is an absolute must to moisturize your face well. I therefore tried the moisturizing mask Pure HA from Croma Pharma. This mask promises to better hydrate and plump your skin. Read my experience with this liquid mask here.

Why Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that protects against free radicals and inhibits inflammation. Essential qualities for beautiful, healthy skin. In addition, the substance is an absolute king in retaining moisture, so that your skin remains well hydrated and flexible. It also makes the skin smoother and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. An important help, especially in this cold and dry winter season. Only as you get older, not only does your collagen in the skin decrease, but also the amount of hyaluronic acid. That is precisely why this substance is often injected, or otherwise funneled into the skin. It also helps to use a mask or serum that contains hyaluronic acid. Very handy if you want to prevent your skin from becoming crackled due to the blaring heating or the falling snowflakes.

Pure Ha & Croma

Now on to the moisturizing Pure HA mask. This product is made by Croma Pharma, a pharmaceutical company from Austria with many years of experience in (among other things) innovative skin treatments. For example, they are specialized in the production of hyaluronic acid for injectables. This is also reflected in this liquid mask, because it is of a pharmaceutical quality that is normally used in medical and aesthetic practice. It is also a very concentrated mask, with no less than 1.8% hyaluronic acid. This can give the natural hydration of your skin a big boost. The result is less visible lines and a fuller face.

How do you use Pure HA?

You can add the liquid mask to your beauty ritual 1 or 2 times a week and it is suitable for every skin type. Clean your face, apply the liquid to your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm water. Note: because water influences the acidity of your skin, I do recommend that you finish with a product that is pH neutral.

My experience with Pure Ha

The mask absorbs quickly and you don’t see it when you apply it. The directions for use say leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse off. However, to make it absorb even better, I leave it on all day. This is fine, provided you don’t mind getting “mask sheets” on your face at some point. Anyway, in this Corona time it shouldn’t be so difficult not to see people up close ;-). I also use the mask on my neck and hands, because they could also use some extras this period.

Then the result. My skin has a porcelain appearance every time after using the mask. This one looks super nice and even and is really silky soft. My skin hasn’t even felt this soft in ages; a baby is jealous of it. It also gives nice juicy cheeks. In short, I am a fan of this product!

Point of criticism: I don’t find the packaging very convenient. The mask is in a (nicely liked) form of an injection. But to get the contents out, you need a swab that I of course lost after 1 session. But hey, maybe that says more about me ;-). After all, it’s all about the content. And that is perfectly fine.

Finally

The Croma mask really surprised me in terms of effect. Wonderful, to feel your cheeks so soft and hydrated. Like going back in time. In short, this mask is a keeper in my beauty ritual. Especially now that my skin could use some extras with all that dryness. I can therefore wholeheartedly recommend the mask in this cold and dry season.
