Unboxing of the Ze Box

The station's packaging is rectangular, made of rigid, well-made cardboard. We can see, indicated on the cardboard, the mark framed in orange and written in small font as well as the product: a charging station with five USB ports.

After unpacking the Ze Box, we realize that the station is protected by a plastic film and two pieces of polystyrene on the sides to avoid shocks. Convenient if you don't want to find your product in a thousand pieces.

The instructions for use are present in the packaging as well asa plug that plugs into an electrical outlet on one side and the USB adapter on the other. It provides power to charge tablets and phones.

Design and ergonomics of the Ze box

The Ze Box has an appreciable aesthetic that can be reminiscent of Apple products from the 90s, with its silver color. Still in terms of colors, they blend perfectly with the vast majority of phones and make the whole rather harmonious.

The finishes are clean, with a refined style. However, we can criticize the product for having a support with a material a little too plastic, a little too rubbery. In other words, not very classy. It seems to swear with the basic design wanted by the firm, turned to elegance.

While remaining classic, its style does not exceed the sobriety of its main competitor, the Kiwi Box 4.

Using the Ze Box

Ltook sectur connects to the USB adapter to provide the energy to charge the devices. The adapter is supplied directly in the box. It is to him that you will have to connect your different wires.

Installation is not easy, end caps are arranged in the box so that the cables can be wrapped around them. This will prevent you from having cables sticking out in all directions.

If you are a little lazy, it is also possible to roll them up in a quick and less organized way, but this makes the arrangement of the devices on the support more difficult. Indeed, they must be plugged through the slots in the cover before being placed.

Phones and other devices should be placed on the stand rubber cover. This allows you to hide all the connections, the jack output having to pass through the slots specially provided for this purpose

Despite its connection problems, the station is very practical for users with more than four devices. In addition, it will be ideal during moments spent with family or evenings with friends or everyone will want to recharge their phone.

The Ze Box facing the Competition  

Ze Box sees itself as a serious competitor of Kiwi box, however several faults should be noted. Despite the firm's claims about the product, the Ze Box is too spacious due to its rectangular shape, and its size 33 × 15 centimeters. This makes it difficult to transport, unlike the Kiwi Box 4, which is square and smaller.

For 40 €, five devices can be smart health connected. The price / quality ratio is unfortunately not there, which makes the product less interesting than the Kiwi Box 4 which offers to charge six devices: four on the base and two on the left side of the device, thanks to USB sockets.
