New Moto 360 could come in two sizes

Similar to Asus or Apple, Motorola could launch the next generation of its smartwatch in two different sizes. A first clue reveals the plans of the Lenovo subsidiary.

Together with LG Electronics, the then Motorola manufacturer Motorola was one of the first to show a smartwatch with Android Wear. The round Moto 360 (Review) has been available on the German market since October 2014. High time for a successor.

At the Brazilian communications authority National Telecommunications Agency – short Anatel – two new Motorola devices have appeared. They have the model names 360S and 360L. Knowing that these should be wristwatches, it stands to reason that the letters for Small and Large stand.

Technical data of the two clocks are not known because the authority only checks the products for their frequencies and other regulations. The 360S and 360L support WLAN according to 802.11b, g and n as well as Bluetooth Smart. The small version has a battery with a nominal charge of 275 mAh, while the large version has 375 mAh. The Moto 360 from last year had 320 mAh under its partially round AMOLED display.

Apple has its watch in two sizes, as does Asus. So why not Motorola?
