Moto 360: configurable in Moto Maker from March

As Wired reports, Motorola's Smartwatch Moto 360 should in future also be available for order via Moto Maker. This online tool allows you to put together the smartwatch in terms of appearance according to your personal taste. Compared to the company's smartphones, however, the scope of personalization options for the smart timepiece is less.

Originally it was saidthat the Moto 360 would be configurable via Moto Maker when the market was launched. In fact, according to the current report, this was actually the plan. This was revealed by Dickson Isaacs, "Director of Design for Wearables" at Motorola, in an interview with Wired. At the time, these plans were put on hold in order to be able to jump on the Android Wear train as soon as possible with your smartwatch.

According to Wired, in Moto Maker you can choose between three different housings for the Moto 360 from March. You can choose between silver, black and gold. The bracelet, which is available in two sizes, uses metal and leather. The third personalization option is the selection of the watch face that is displayed when the wearable is switched on.

Isaacs did not reveal whether the Moto 360 can also be ordered via Moto Maker in Germany from March. It is more likely that the Motorola smartwatch personalization tool will launch in the U.S., with more countries likely to follow in the coming months.
