As a whole, the Comet smart health connected garland of the brand Mipow, is presented in a very simple and not very original packaging… At the same time, it is a light garland and not a luxury item! When the user takes the inner box out of the outer box, it see the product right away.

The garland is wrapped in a transparent plastic shell, which is extremely practical for storing the garland without worrying about damaging the electronic circuits it contains. In a second box above, a second box presents the accessories.

Indeed, the Mipow smart health connected garland comes with a power cable, note that the PlayBulb Comet does not work, off. The box at the end of the garland corresponds to the box of Bluetooth connection, which allows light to communicate with the user's smartphone.

As a whole, the packaging is quite basic but functional and largely sufficient.

Design and ergonomics

The PlayBulb Comet presents itself as a flexible and practical garland, since on one side it is self-adhesive, so the user can easily install it anywhere in their health home. The material in which the garland is made is quite nice, because it is very flexible and soft to the touch.

Application

The brand Mipow has planned a single application for its entire range of lights: PlayBulb X. It’s very handy, because if you’re a fan of the brand, you won’t be drowning in apps to download to control only two lights

So not only can you control all of your lights with a single application, but it is compatible with Android and iOS devices… Another good point for Mipow!

In terms of functionality, they are quite basic, and we will detail them in more detail in the “use” section. They are not numerous, but still allow to be able to control its light with a certain freedom and really adapt it to your desires and tastes.

Just activate its Bluetooth and then connect the lamp to the smartphone, be careful, the garland must be on. Once this little operation is done, your garland is ready to be used!

Using the PlayBulb Comet

The smart health connected garland PlayBulb Comet presents on its generic application, four main functionalities: Candle, Flash and Rainbow. They have some small variations between them, but they will give you an overview of what you can do with your PlayBulb Comet.

The Candle function, is presented as a simple dimmer, in order to change the color, but also the intensity of the light. What is quite new with Mipow lamps, which is not found in other colored bulbs, is that the user can choose his color in the middle of a circle and be able to choose unique shades between two primary colors, for example.

The Flash function, seems to be reserved for crazy parties that you might want to organize at health home. But be careful, because it is rather aggressive for the eyes with its incessant blinking !

The Rainbow function, allows the user to be able to let the light change color regularly. He can also adjust the speed of the light change and choose whether this change is done gradually or suddenly.

It is also possible to choose the colors of its smart health connected garland from the colors present in a photo or a drawing, it is excellent, if you want to use the smart health connected garland to install a very special decor.

As you will surely understand, the Mipow's PlayBulb Comet allows a certain number of shaping of the light, which places it above the more basic colored lights… In addition as it can be controlled from the smartphone, it allows more amplitude of change than a simple remote control .

With these few features, you can install a certain atmosphere for events or simply in your interior, which will be very personalized according to your desires and your imagination!

PlayBulb Comet, facing the competition

Many companies on the market offer this kind of product. The most famous is probably the Philips lamp, but question quality / price ratio, Mipow with its range of Play Bulb breaks all records!

Even if its price may seem excessive, it still takes more than 62 euros, but offers many features. These offer more freedom to its user.

As a whole, the Mipow PlayBulb Comet remains a fairly basic smart health smart health connected object that remains a little too expensive for the features it offers. Even if the brand offers a smart health connected and more elaborate object than a basic light garland, in the end it remains a garland. It will especially be necessary to know if the smart health connected garland will hold on the length and if its sticker side can be used several times.

Nevertheless, for all individuals who would like to add color to their health home, but who wish to obtain personalized colors, this is an excellent investment. We were not convinced by the "usefulness" of this garland, but we liked its playfulness. It should nevertheless be noted that the PlayBulb remains too much in the gadget side, which breaks with the price at which it is sold.
