[MedPi 2020] Glagla presents the V3 of its heated smart sole
[ad_1]
A few months after a first version presented at CES in Las Vegas, the company behind the Glaglashoes presents in Monaco the V3 of its smart health connected sole, the Digitsole.
New version, but above all improvement. Version 3 of the Digitsole, the smart health connected soleplate is promising. The company has worked on the resistance of the sole to humidity, but also to impact. "Karim (the inventor of the sole) had the idea that it was necessary to go through electronics in the shoe to make innovation. However, if there’s anything electronics dislike, it’s shock and humidity. In a shoe, there is everything, shock, dust and humidity ” Explain Bertrand Mallard, Director of sales in France. Indeed, when we run, we suffer 2 to 3 times its weight in each stride, which is to say that the components must hold up.
This smart health connected sole fulfills the function an activity tracker, but more precisely insofar as everything is integrated as close as possible to the foot and therefore to the effort. One of the big strengths is the possibility of heating the inside of his feet thanks to the soles up to 50 degrees. New applications are in the pipeline, particularly in the health, wellness and sports sectors.
Athletes and residents of cold countries can be tempted as Bertrand Mallard says: ”With our shoes on, you immediately think of skiing, but there is also Canada which experiences extreme temperatures all winter. ” The army is also interested in it. The company has been approached by the US Army to integrate this technology for its soldiers. This sole will be available in October 2020 for 199 euros.
Prototypes in the pipes
For 2020, a trekking shoe with three heated zones is planned, a prototype was also visible on the show. "Before, Glaglashoes were 100% ventilated shoes, then we want to be leaders in the smart health connected shoe market ” explains the brand. More information at CES 2020.
