InsideCoach, the smart health connected ball that wants to come into play

[ad_1]

Being coached by your balloon will soon be possible. The American company InsideCoah is about to see its idea of a smart health connected balloon lead to Kickstarter.

Softly but surely, football connects. This season, Ligue 1 has adopted the Goal Line technology : a system which makes it possible to check whether the ball has crossed the goal line or not, thanks to an integrated sensor. Since the start of the season, this tool has proven its worth, avoiding the passage of supporters to over-cheer themselves in the face of referee blunders.

A smart health connected ball to progress

Here, InsideCoach does not offer to help the refereeing but the players, amateurs and professionals, who would like to improve their performance. Thanks to that integrated chip, the balloon detects and informs its user about a lot of data that can allow it tosharpen his technique. The force of the impact of the ball, its rotation, its position, its trajectory, all these elements are collected by the American smart health connected ball. So much data sent directly via Wi-Fi to the balloon’s mobile app. An idea that is very similar to that developed by the brand of basketball basketball.

If it does not promise to make you the prince of the green rectangle, this new technology could however greatly contribute to the work of educators, within football schools, but also for professional footballers anxious to analyze their game with precision, to be able to progress on certain aspects. With this ball, a free kick taker can for example accurately study the trajectory of his ball and the positioning of his foot at the time of the strike.

The application also offers football challenges depending on skill levels. Challenges you can share with your friends or other ball users around the world. The designers also promise to develop new game modes and training sessions as they go, to further expand the experience offered.

Note that the balloon has exactly the same weight and size characteristics of ordinary bales, even if you will only be able to tease the leather during four hours, that is to say the autonomy time of the technology on board the balloon. To recharge it, simply place it on a wireless charging plate, connect to any power outlet.

American designers have developed two versions of the ball : one of standard size for adults (size 5), and another more intended for children (size 4) who are the first soccer players in the United States.

A project soon to be put together

On its website, the smart health connected ball is presented above all as a tool that can encourage children to stay active, in a country where 70% of them stop practicing sport after 13 years. The aim is to “stimulate” them with videos and a more modern approach to team sport.

Still in the works on Kickstarter, the InsideCoach project is just around the corner. Nearly $ 24,000 have already been harvested out of the 25,000 initially targeted. The designers have until March 28, 2020 to convince the last investors to collect the missing 1000 dollars.

The first price announced for the smart health connected balloon is 99 dollars, the most expensive reaching 185 dollars. A price below the 200 dollars displayed by the Adidas Smart Ball. The first deliveries of the ball are scheduled for late 2020. Until then, you can still train the old fashioned way, this time with a real coach.
