As in many other countries, Indian breakfasts consist of salty dishes.Here we give you easy healthy breakfast recipes in hindi.
In South India, the most popular dishes are masala puris, upuma, idlis and dosas.
But what foods are hidden behind these unknown words?
Masala Puri
The puri masala consists of a sauce made from potato, turmeric and red pepper powder served between two puris. Puris are round rolls, made like chapatis with the only difference that they are fried.
Upuma
The upuma is made with semolina, called rava, lentils, green pepper, mustard seeds and ginger. It can be enjoyed with sambar or coconut chutney. In Kerala it is also customary to mix upuma with a crushed banana. Generally tasted in the morning, its rather simple and fast realization makes it an ideal snack.
Idli
The idlis are buns of fermented lentil flour and rice, steamed. It is a food considered very healthy because it contains no fat or gluten.
In addition, the flours used contain proteins that are more easily assimilated thanks to the fermentation process. Like upuma, they can be enjoyed with sambar and coconut chutney.
Dosa
Dosas are pancakes that contain the same flours as idlis and are therefore also known for their health benefits.
Dosas according to their manufacture can be more or less crispy. They are cooked on a metal plate called tava.
Like most breakfasts the dosas are tasted with different chutneys.
An Easy healthy breakfast recipes in Hindi
Ingredients
200 ml of water
1 teaspoon of salt250g of flourFor 12 chapati:
Preparation STEP 1 :Put the flour and salt in a bowl, make a fountain in the center and slowly add the water.Knead the dough for 10 minutes, cover it with a slightly dampened household cloth and leave it in a cool place for 30 minutes.
2ND STEP :Spread them in thin rounds on a floured work surface.Lightly heat a pan and cook the chapati over low heat.
STEP 3:Accompanying sauces:– 1 wall avocado– 1 soy yogurt– a teaspoon of curry– 1 lemon– salt pepper– mint
STEP 4:Mix the avocado, then add the yoghurt, curry and chopped lemon juice and mint.
STEP 5:Mix well and salt, pepper.
STEP 6:Book freshCurry-coconut sauce:– 1 red pepper– 2 tbsp mustard seeds– 10 curry leaves– 1 teaspoon of cumin– a cac turmeric– 1 large piece of ginger– 3 onions– 40 cl of coconut milk– salt
STEP 7:Stir in the coconut milk and simmer for 10 minutes. Steam the rice.
STEP 8:Serve everything together.
Dip the chapati in the sauces.
