Death of Jean-Christophe Dayet, ex-DSSIS at the Ministry of Health

Engineer of Bridges and Roads, Jean-Christophe Dayet had acted as interim at the DSSIS after the departure of Philippe Cirre in October 2018 and until the elimination of this service and its replacement by the ministerial delegation for digital health (DNS) in December 2019.

He joined the DSSIS as project manager in 2011, where he was notably in charge of trust services and the dematerialization of personal data.

As such, he worked on the implementation of the certification of health data hosts (HDS) in 2018.

Previously, he held various positions within the National Geographic Institute (IGN, 1984-2003), before being appointed Deputy Director of Information Systems of the Ministry of Ecology (2003-2007), then of the Ministry of Health (2007-2011).

He died on January 5, at the age of 60.
