Suitable for both sweet and savory dishes, chia seeds can be sprinkled on top of yogurt or salad, added to smoothies, baked into bread, used as a natural thickener for soups and sauces and even used to replace eggs and oil in baked dishes. Berries Cream Chia Popsicles. Yields: 6 popsicles. Ingredients:. 1/3 c. chia berry jam or your favorite fruit-sweetened jam (2/3 c. greek-style yogurt (sub coconut cream for dairy-free). 1/3 c. almond milk or other milk of choice. 1/3 c. honey. 2 tsp. vanilla extract. 3 tbsp. Chosen Foods Chia Seeds. Directions:. Add about 1 tablespoon of chia jam to each of the popsicle cups. Set aside the mold. In a blender, add the yogurt, almond milk, honey, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth. Pour the creamy mixture over top of the berry jam in the molds. Use a knife to gently move the jam around to create a swirl effect. Top the creamy layer with about 1/2 tablespoons chia seeds each and gently insert the popsicle stick. Freeze until solid, about 6 hours. Recipe provided by Chosen Foods.
