A Swiss start-up has developed the first smart health connected bracelet to determine the ideal fertility period for a woman, who can therefore be consulted directly on her smartphone. Details.

How it works ?

Ava works on the same land principle as watches and other smart health connected bracelets. The peculiarity of it is thatit collects chemical data provided by the hormones produced in an effort to assess the current situation of the user's current cycle. Such precision would be made possible by capturing a few 3 million data points on the entire female body which would indicate any change in metabolism through 10 specific sensors, according to the Swiss company, which nevertheless left a gray area on the subject.

New gadget then, or real advance? If the precision and the usefulness of the bracelet is undeniable according to the Ava management team, this however does not guarantee absolute reliability. It aims to formalize in a concrete and scientific way the different conception methods based on the observation of the menstrual calendar of women. Already competed in the sector by Tempdrop and DuoFertility, Pascal Koenig intends to distinguish his product from that of his rivals by indicating that it is a true comprehensive health management system, like a smart health connected health watch Philipps, for example taking into account the quality of the user's sleep, in addition to their other abilities.

Scheduled for the beginning of 2016, the smart health bracelet will be accessible from 220 euros.
