Asus ZenWatch available from December 12th

In addition to the round smart watches Moto 360 from Motorola and G Watch R from LG, the Asus ZenWatch is currently one of the hottest smartwatches with Google's wearable operating system due to its attractive exterior. Asus has now announced that the company's first Android Wear smartwatch will be available in Germany from December 12th.

For the time being, the wrist gadget is only available in limited quantities for 229 euros in the online shop from Asus. According to the company, the smartwatch will be available from other selected retailers from early 2015. If you want to get a good taste of the world of Google wearables, you can currently get the angular G Watch from LG for 99 euros in the Play Store.

The ZenWatch has a 320 × 320 pixel resolution 1.6-inch AMOLED panel. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip clocked at 1.2 GHz is used as the processor. The main memory is 512 MB, the internal memory 4 GB. The battery has a capacity of 370 mAh. The 75-gram smartwatch measures 50.6 × 39.8 × 7.9 to 9.4 millimeters.
