Android Wear for iPhone finally formalized

Android Wear for iPhone has finally been formalized. I already mentioned this to you yesterday during the presentation of the Huawei Watch; Google formalized it at the end of the day.

The rumors were therefore true. Google has officially announced that Android Wear is coming to iPhones. But there are some caveats. Only the latest iPhones, which are running iOS 8.2 and later, are supported. Most importantly, this app only works with the latest version of Android Wear. Right now, the only watch that works with it is the LG Watch Urbane. Those from ASUS, Motorola and Huawei will follow.

Devices running an older version of Android Wear will therefore not be able to work with iPhone. But rest assured there is a good bet that an unofficial application quickly offers to operate them! Only the future will tell us…

Android Wear for iPhone should work almost as with Android phones. You will have notifications from your favorite Google services such as Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Now as well as those from Apple Calendar, Google Fit, time, alarms, etc. All third-party app notifications that appear on the iPhone may also appear on the smartwatch. You can also control your watch by voice and change the wallpaper of the watch.
