The IFA in Berlin wasn't over yet, so Apple continued: On Tuesday, the Cupertino-based company presented its new iPhone – or its new iPhones. For the first time in the history of the manufacturer, the current smartphone generation is available in two different sizes. In addition, the world was able to take a first look at the legendary iWatch, which contrary to previous rumors will simply be called Apple Watch. At this point we summarize again for you.

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

As already mentioned: The new iPhone is available for the first time in two different sizes. The smaller model called iPhone 6 has grown noticeably compared to its predecessor 5S – from 4.0 to 4.7 inches. Accordingly, the resolution has made a leap: With 1334 × 750 pixels, Apple remains with the retina pixel density of 326 ppi.

The iPhone 6 Plus, on the other hand, is 5.5 inches and has Full HD with 1920 × 1080 pixels. This results in a pixel density of 401 ppi – Apple has never had more. In contrast to the first QHD smartphones, which, like the LG G3, are well above the 500 mark, this does not appear to be as record-breaking.
