Adding The Crystal Facial To Your Clinic Or Salon – Anti-Aging
[ad_1]
This blog is an in-depth guide for the beauty therapist, acupuncturist, or other esthetician who wants to add a luxury crystal facial to their range of services.
Amethyst, rose quartz, jade, tourmaline, clear quartz or all three?
The Crystal Rollers and Crystal Gua Sha are made in 5 different crystal types to suit different skin types. In your clinic or salon, you have the option of offering your beauty clients a range of different crystals, or just offering one or two types.
The advantage of offering all 5 types of crystals is the possibility to adapt the treatment to the individual skin type. This offers your customers a much more personalized treatment.
If you want to offer this offer, you must carefully examine your customers’ skin before performing the crystal facial. A basic guide to what Crystal Roller and Gua Sha are right for each skin type is given below.
Amethyst Crystal Facial: Normal Dry and sensitive skinRose Quartz Crystal Facial: Normal, sensitive, combination and acne-prone skinJade crystal facial treatment: Oily impure and acne-prone skinTourmaline Crystal Facial: Oily, normal or sensitive skinClear Quartz Crystal Facial: Suitable for all skin types. This is considered a master healer crystal
For a more detailed explanation see the ‘Crystal Type Selection Chart’ blog or you can use our online selector ‘Choose your crystal by skin type’. This selector also allows you to choose your crystal type acupuncture meridian or chakra.
If you prefer to use only one type of crystal facial, it is best to choose the crystal based on your personal preference and what you think suits your clinic.
Jade and rose quartz are still the most popular. These are great choices, but don’t overlook crystals like amethyst, which add a unique and beautiful tint to your salon.
Remember that all Anti-Aging crystal products carry a lifetime guarantee so you will be working with them for a long time. Choose one you really love.
How do you make a crystal facial?
For free step-by-step instructions on how to perform a crystal facial, visit this blog ‘How to Perform the Anti-Aging Crystal Facial’ along with a video demonstrating the techniques.
If you ever need more help with this Anti-Aging, they also offer a detailed correspondence course called ‘Jade Roller, Gua Sha and Cosmetic Cupping Course’.
This encompasses the entire treatments from a practitioner’s point of view. It is hosted by founder Antony Kingston who has been providing these treatments for 15 years. Anthony was instrumental in popularizing the techniques in the west. It contains many practical tips for the optimal use of crystal beauty products and cupping in the clinic.
Combining the Crystal Facial with other treatments
Crystal facials are a very relaxing, non-invasive treatment. For this reason, they combine ideally with more aggressive beauty treatments such as microneedling or dermarolling, microdermal abrasion or cosmetic acupuncture.
Combining a crystal facial with more invasive treatments offers three benefits.
Crystal Facials Can Enhance Results: By improving skin nutrition and microcirculation prior to treatments such as microneedling, crystal massage can enhance the healing process in collagen induction.
Crystal Facials Relax Clients: Many invasive beauty techniques are effective, but are often not described as comfortable or comfortable. Adding a crystal facial before these treatments creates a better, more well-rounded experience for the client.
Crystal Facials Allow Time for Skin Diagnosis: During the crystal facial, you have ample time to examine the client’s skin in a friendly manner. This allows you to determine which areas require more attention when performing microneedling or other treatments.
Remember that all crystal massage products must be applied to the skin prior to invasive treatments, not after.
It is sometimes written that crystals can be used on the skin after treatments that cause inflammation to “cool” the skin. That’s not really correct.
Most invasive procedures, including microneedling, acupuncture, microblading, and skin abrasion, break through the skin’s surface. If used after any of these treatments, the crystal products cannot be used on other clients due to the risk of blood transfusion. If you choose to use the crystal products after an invasive treatment, send the crystal products home with the client instead of reusing them in the clinic.
Clean your Crystal Beauty products
For detailed instructions on how to clean your crystal beauty products, visit the ‘Cleaning the Jade Roller’ blog
Important points to consider
Use colloidal silver or isopropyl alcohol products to clean.
Do not use water or dish soap with the crystal rollers as the water will rust the metal brackets over time
Clean the products before and after each use.
If using isopropyl alcohol before treatments, wait for the alcohol to evaporate before applying to the client’s skin.
If you have UV disinfectant in the clinic, it will be useful as a second line of disinfection.
Between treatments, store the Crystal massagers in the silk boxes provided. Silk is naturally antibacterial and helps protect the crystal products.
